I got absolutely no appreciation for my repeated business. I’m a platinum level of their rewards program. Unprofessional people attending the front desk and dirty/broken rooms. I recently stayed here again and nothing has changed. When I was notified I had to stay at this hotel for a week I begged my company to put me somewhere else. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.
My husband and I work for a major medical center and were very impressed by the housekeeping’s commitment to our personal safety. The staff are wearing appropriate protective equipment and following the rules of social distancing. All high traffic and high touch surfaces were constantly being disinfected throughout the day. I could here them as we passed by and realized that they had implemented a 24-hour vacancy between guests departures to ensure that the rooms were being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Housekeeping was on it and constantly cleaning rooms the entire time we were there. There was decreased occupancy and frequent disinfecting. We were thanked for our patience and all of our questions were promptly answered, Housekeeping was excellent and very transparent about following CDC recommended guidelines to ensure that all of their customers were safe. The staff communicated with us well and made sure that we were pleased with our accommodations and that all of our needs were met. We were manually checked in and escorted to our rooms with only two people in the elevator at a time. The front desk ensured only a certain number of guests were in the lobby at once and made sure that everyone maintained 6ft apart and wore mask in the lobby and all public areas. The reservation system had gone down but we were met with eyes that smile. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. My husband Rene and I were very impressed by their safety measures and the cleanliness of the hotel! We felt very safe. We didn’t get to try the breakfast, however, as we ended up in a nearby small Mexican spot that had a patio and nice menu (Bread & Honey House, approx. There is a restaurant in the lobby that serves breakfast, and, surprisingly, the breakfast prices seemed very reasonable ($10-15 per person). The area seemed quiet (we were there on a weekend, though). Other than that we had a pleasant short stay. Huge disadvantage of the bathroom design is that it got massively flooded after a quick shower (flooded as in: the whole floor was covered in a few inches of water!). The accessible bathroom was big and bright, with an open shower. The room was very simple, but nice, clean and comfortable. We booked through Expedia and ended up with an accessible room #503.
